Underpass in Blida
Underpass 250 m long, with diaphragm walls (350 piles), under train tracks.
2015
The underpass under the railway tracks is located on Palestine Street in Blida, Algeria. The project consists of the execution of a 250m long underpass under a double electrified railway line. The support of the walls has been conceived with pile screens (approximately 350 piles) with a diameter of 0.80 m, considering an axis between them between 1.20 and 1.80 m. In certain parts the piles are braced with metal stampers.
